Canada’s capitol, the City of Ottawa is located between Toronto (500km) and Montréal (200km) on the eastern edge of Ontario. Carleton University is south of central, downtown Ottawa and is easily accessible by car from any direction of the city.

Situated on a beautiful campus bordered by the sparkling Rideau River and Canal, Carleton is just minutes from the heart of the city and enjoys easy access to the many organizations, associations and businesses which thrive in Ottawa. Many of Ontario’s leading high tech companies surround our campus where cutting-edge research joins with highly innovative teaching to solve real-life problems.

Carleton’s Campus

The 150-acre Carleton University campus is framed by two waterways — the Rideau Canal and Dow’s Lake on its northern and eastern borders and the Rideau River to the south. Confederation Heights and Massey Park lie across the river, connected to Carleton by the Rideau River pedestrian bridge.

Conference Space and Floorplans

Central Atrium
Richcraft Hall Atrium

This is where our sponsor booths and food/beverage tables will be located.

The three-storey central Atrium overlooks the Rideau River. The Atrium will be our central social gathering area and space for sponsor booths. It has a 300-person capacity that expands to 500 when the airwall separating the conference rooms is opened.

Among its many amenities, Richcraft’s ground floor features a new riverfront Café, Riverbank Social, which has two private rooms that can be reserved.

Conference Rooms
Richcraft Hall Conference Rooms

The three main conference rooms (RB 2220, 2224, and 2228) adjoin each other and individually can accommodate 60 people each. Merged into a single enclosed space by opening one or two interior walls, the total capacity scales up to 300. With the airwall open, the conference rooms and atrium form a single 500-person capacity space.

This is where our sessions will take place.

Green Room
Boardroom

We’ll have a green room or preparation space for speakers in the RB 2211 board room.

This space can also be used for temporary storage.
