This session is designed for complete beginners, assuming they have little or no exposure to WordPress. We will get users into their WordPress website installations and help them navigate some of the common settings and tools that are needed in their website. They will build their first post, including common blocks, media and more. We will discuss the ways in which users can modify their site, extend their site (plugins) and make them look appealing (themes). While we may not get to everything, we will get the basics down so participants can have a more involved experience during WordCamp Canada.
