Sasha Endoh is the founder of Endoh Collaborative, a feminist digital agency that partners with nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations to create accessible, impactful websites and branding. With a background in both design and development, Sasha thrives at the intersection of creativity and technical problem-solving. They believe technology is a powerful tool to amplify the missions of those working toward social good, and that with that power comes responsibility.
At WCEH, Sasha will lead a hands-on workshop, “Content Managers: Let’s Make Your Website Accessible.” Accessibility can often feel overly technical, but content creators have more power than they realize to make their sites usable for wider audiences. This workshop will guide attendees through simple, high-impact ways to create more inclusive content in the WordPress block editor. Bring your laptop, roll up your sleeves, and leave with practical skills, and a checklist, you can put into practice right away.

Give Sasha a follow, and don’t miss his talk this October in Ottawa! 🍁
And now for something a little Canadian 🇨🇦
What comes to mind when you think of Canada?
“Turtle Island – the land and the people and the work we must do towards true justice”
Favourite Canadian artist?
“As an angsty teen, I knew Our Lady Peace’s entire Clumsy album by heart. A few years ago I got to see Alanis Morissette at Ottawa Bluesfest which was such a treat. We’re truly spoiled for fantastic shows in Montreal, both from local bands and those traveling through. Right now, the next one I’m looking forward to is the Bad Uncle album release with The Unsettlers happening in October. I’m also enjoying everything that Begonia is putting out into the world”
A Canadian food you love, or want to try while in Ottawa?
“I’m curious to explore Ottawa’s Chinatown!”
A sport / athlete (or other celebrity) you associate with Canada?
“Dr Penfield – the neurosurgeon who, among other things, used the smell of burnt toast as a precursor of a seizure to help map the brain. We also have a street named after him in Montreal that seems to be under perpetual construction 😅
