Sponsor Packages
Sponsor packages with booths (the top four options) are unavailable after September 30.
WCEH is Canada’s premier WordCamp event, one of only two national WordCamps worldwide. As we enter our second year, we’re building on the momentum of last year’s sold-out event, which hosted over 300 attendees from across the global WordPress ecosystem.
Sponsoring WCEH is an opportunity to engage deeply with the WordPress community, showcase your brand in front of decision-makers, and create lasting, personal relationships with developers, agency leaders, and business owners who rely on WordPress.
All prices are in CAD. $5,000 CAD is approximately €3000 EUR or $3600 USD

Sponsorship Benefits and Engagement Opportunities
Here’s what’s in each package, and why it might be right for you.
Booth and Exhibit Space
Want a physical presence at the event? Choose between dedicated and shared booth spaces, and host a dinner or other off-site event.
Booth Options
- Exclusive Booth/Table: As a Confederation or Northern Lights sponsor, you get your own six-foot long table in the sponsor area. Plus, the two Confederation sponsors get more display space with end-cap placements.
- Shared and Scheduled Booths: As a Great Lakes sponsor, you get your own booth for one day of the conference. (You choose which day.) As a Maple Leaf sponsor, you’ll share a booth with another sponsor — perfect for a second brand or partner. (You get to choose who you share a booth with — and so do they.)
Circles (Networking Events)
What if you could have targeted discussions with your ideal customer segments? Well, as a Confederation or Northern Lights sponsor, you can. In six slots over two days, you can lead a Networking Circle with your audience to find out what they like, what they need, what makes them happy and — most importantly — what you can fix to keep them coming back to you for everything they need.
Activity Sponsorship (Evening Dinners)
Foster high-value networking opportunities with intimate dinners at restaurants across the city. Capped at 30 people, these dinners are exclusively available to Global, Confederation, and Northern Lights sponsors. WordCamp organizers handle the logistics, while you cover the cost of drinks — with the option to cover more.
Speaker-Sponsor Dinner or Afterparty
Sponsors can also support an add-on event, like the Speaker-Sponsor Dinner or Afterparty. Please get in touch if you’d like to host these special events with us.
We suggest any of the great eateries in Lansdowne Park (near the Carleton campus) and Byward Market (downtown). We’re expecting a beautiful Ontario Autumn, so we’ve also suggested some favourite locations with rooftop views in downtown Ottawa.

How Can I Become a Global Sponsor?
Global Sponsors support multiple WordCamps, not just WCEH. Contact WordCamp Central to learn more about the Global Sponsorship program.
Do More with your WordCamp Ticket. Be a Microsponsor
When you support a WordCamps by paying the true price of a WordCamp ticket, you earn the Microsponsor title. You’ll see that option when you buy WCEH tickets. Micro-sponsors will be listed on our Micro-sponsor wall for their contribution to WordCamp Canada 2025.
On-Site Branding and Visibility
All sponsors receive brand exposure through slide decks displayed between sessions, swag bag inserts, and on-stage acknowledgments. Sponsors at the Laurentian tier can also claim exclusive branding opportunities in the sponsor hall on food and beverage tables. These branded opportunities are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Brand exposure in content marketing
Blog posts and social media mentions before, during, and after the event expose your brand to your very best prospects. At higher tiers, you’ll get individual recognition on the WCEH team blog after the conference, while at lower tiers you’ll be recognized in a group post thanking all sponsors in your tier just before the conference begins.
At every tier, your logo will be on the slide decks that play between sessions, in swag bag inserts, and on-stage acknowledgments.
Sponsor Application
Thank you for your interest in sponsoring WordCamp Canada. Please note that the sponsorship process has changed for 2025 and now includes an additional review process to ensure GPL and trademark compliance.
