For most of that time, she did what most freelancers do: said yes to projects outside her comfort zone and spent twice the planned time figuring it out alone, or said no to the big, exciting, well-paid ones because taking them on solo felt just too intimidating. It wasn&#8217;t until two years ago that something clicked \u2014 the fastest way to land bigger projects isn&#8217;t to do more or push through the fear alone, it&#8217;s to stay in your zone of genius and build the right people around you. Now she&#8217;s obsessed with one thing: helping freelancers build a professional ecosystem where they feel confident and supported, because that&#8217;s what actually moves the needle on your career. What&#8217;s a moment in this community that reminded you why you stay?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I made WordPress friends in Montreal that I met again in St-Louis, then again in Los Angeles and again in Mexico City. Even if we barely know each other, we laugh and grab drinks like we\u2019re best friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>What does the WordPress community get right that other tech communities don&#8217;t. What could we still do better?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WordPress community is the most inclusive and nice people I know. There is a place for everyone.
