Hey there, WordCampers!
How’s it goin’, eh? We’ve had such a beauty of a time at this year’s WordCamp Canada that we’re already gearing up for next year’s event! But to make it even better than a Timmy’s double-double on a chilly morning, we need some fine folks to step up and join our organizing team.
We’re looking for some great Canadians to help us out, and trust me, it’s going to be more fun than a backyard hockey game of shinny in January! Whether you’re a seasoned WordPress whiz or just someone who loves a good beaver tail (the pastry or the animal, take your pick), we’ve got a spot for you.
And don’t worry if you’ve never done this before—there’s no experience needed, just a good attitude and a love for all things WordPress (and maybe a little bit of maple syrup, eh?). A habit for saying “sorry” a lot will not go amiss.
So, if you’re ready to have a blast and make next year’s WordCamp the best one yet, give us a shout! This isn’t an absolute commitment, but more of a “who’s interested” and contacts for those people to get involved.
Less than 50% of our team this year is from Ottawa, so, regardless to where next year’s team choses as a host city, you can help it happen.
